Storage
Keep refrigerated, once opened store below 5oC and use within 3 days. Ideal for home freezing. Do so on day of purchase and consume within one month. Defrost thoroughly before use. Do not refreeze after thawing.
Preparation and Usage
To reheat, preheat the oven to 180oC. Empty the contents of the pack into an ovenproof dish. Cook for 20 minutes until piping hot. Remove from its juices and pull into pieces with 2 forks. Add juices back into the pulled pork, mix and serve. Some cooking times may vary.
Serving suggestions:
- Add the pulled pork into a taco with some salad, top with sour cream and sprinkle with cheese.
- Create a stir fry by combining the pulled pork with noodles, bean sprouts, peppers and sweet chilli sauce.
- Use as a topper for a burger - delicious.
- Fancy nachos with a difference? Use this a topping to tortillas adding chilis, cheese, sour cream or whatever takes your fancy.

Our pigs, and those of the other three farms we work with, are outdoor bred in plenty of space with the opportunity to express their natural behaviours. Free range all their lives, slow growing and resulting in wonderful tasting meat! We even use waste organic fruit and veg from a veg box company as supplemental food to add variety and interest to the pigs diets.
